Fabulous! Quirky! Whimsical! Chic! Perfectly perfect in every way! Kate Spade’s Fall/ Winter 2013 presentation was amazing and the clothing in the latest collection was die to for. The collection had a strong 80s vibe with bright neons, big bows and Blondie blasting in the background. Models donned puffy waves and bold lipstick and audience members swooned at the sights of the gorgeous clothing emerging on the glossy runway. The garments in the collection were pure New York City with adorable bright yellow heels and clutches featuring a black and white checkerboard print and chunky lettering spelling the word “Taxi” (how NYC is that?). Of course there was also the classic Kate Spade candy twist as many of the garments featured sugary sweet prints and patterns and several pieces flaunted treats such as donuts, lollipops and sugar drops.
The clothing in the collection was happy, bold and bright with pink, yellow, red, brown, black and white being the dominant colors in the collection. F&B Inc loved the fun girly patterns and fabrics used such as polkadots and leopard print. Every inch of the presentation was incredible and each and every garment made fashionistas squeal with delight.
The collection featured glorious pieces for every occasion from a day in the office to a night out with friends. Each piece had a happy and blissful vibe while still being ever-chic and completely unique. Tweeds and chiffons were popular fabrics in the collection both which are hot trends for the Fall season.
Design features such as pleats, bows and peplum (which has been super popular in several other collections this season!) are bound to be hot come Fall/ Winter. Bold, bright colored tights provided a Gossip Girl Blair Waldorf vibe and prove that a bright color adds a feisty pop of fabulousness to any outfit!
All in all the Kate Spade Fall/ Winter 2013 presentation was amazing and the collection is adorably chic in every way. This collection is by far F&B Inc’s favorite so far!
