Last night, the most fabulous gowns, headdresses and everything else in between could be spotted at the illustrious and glamourous Met Gala, China: Through The Looking Glass. The exquisite dresses and unique looks were inspiring and just another reminder of why Hollywood’s current fashionistas are so hot. Read on to see pictures of the nights most stand out looks!
Kim Kardashian has recently been knocking all of her fashion looks out of the park! This gown is no exception. The stunning and dainty white feathers and delicate beading make for a gorgeous show stopping look, that was inspired but a dress Cher once war to the Met Gala! This dress is sure to be on the list of Kim’s most noteworthy looks, and definitely is a major improvement upon last years dark floral glove sleeve look!
Katy Perry’s graffiti inspired fit and flare dress was majorally cool, unique and fun! The interesting touches like the ruffle around the sweetheart neckline and skirt top, and shoulder high gloves with that awesome bag make for a look that is hard to miss.
Rosie Huntington Whitley is always a sight to behold, with her goddess like features. This particular dress was strapy in the back, had a sexy thigh high slit, and was a beautiful sparkling and silky baby pink colour. Mix all those aspects together, and Rosie has landed herself on the best dressed list!
Rihanna’s yellow regal gown was called many things, but the only thing it is, is downright spectacular. Perhaps the yellow was a bit, -er- yellow, but the heels and fur trim and golden head piece made this look a highlight of the night!!
Solange looked psychedelic in this circular mirror-esque look. This dress was on trend, and nothing like anything anyone has seen before! Totally loving this look on Solange!
Beyonce rocked the red carpet in this sheer jeweled number. Her super high ponytail allowed all the focus to be on the gown, and it was a real show stopper. The sparkling details were dainty and glam, and totally Yonce, and yes, she did wake up like this.
Sarah Jessica Parker, on of the few celebs who really followed the “China” theme took a major fashion risk -as she always does- and sported this mega cool and funky flaming head piece! As far as we’re concerned, this fearless fashionista will be reigning the red carpet for years to come.
