Good Morning! There is no better feeling than waking up refreshed, energized and ready to conquer your day. Whether your to do list is twenty items long or all about one major task, there is no reason not to make daybreak as positive and productive as possible. It is easy to get more done in the morning by simply saying goodbye to a few simple slip ups and trading them in for time saving secrets guaranteed to make you happier and much more productive.
Don’t Reach For Your Phone
When your alarm goes off in the morning don’t let the first thing you do involve scrolling endlessly on your phone. You set the tone for your day with everything you include in your morning routine so don’t let wasting time be a part of that. If you have an extra 5 minutes before you need to get out of bed do a quick meditation to practice mindfulness or jot down a memory from your dreams that night in a dream journal.
Routine is one of the best ways to keep yourself on track in the morning. Simple things such as brushing your teeth, washing your face and putting on lotion right when you wake up can help you feel more ready for your day. These things might sound obvious, but they are vital and it is so important you wake up early enough to include these in your morning. Being clean and fresh will make your mind feel clean and fresh and will make you more ready for whatever you need to do that day.
Leave Your Bedroom Glowing
It doesn’t matter if you’re going to your kitchen to make breakfast or headed out the door to the gym never ever leave your room looking like a mess. If you don’t have enough time to make your bed, fold your clothes and make sure your room is de-cluttered you’re simply not waking up early enough. Especially if you have a busy day planned you’re not going to want to re-enter your room that afternoon or evening with it looking disastrous. Being more aware of keeping your room clean right from the moment you wake up will help you stay organized throughout the day and bring you more happiness if you are working in your room. Clean spaces are productive spaces.
Don’t Rush Breakfast
