Ample Hills Board Walk

If you’re going to be living in Disney World for a whole summer it is pretty much impossible not to accept the fact that sugar is going to be a part of your daily diet 😉 From theme parks to resorts, the sugary scent of indulgent deserts follows guests everywhere. Cookies, waffles, churros and candies are at every corner but the one treat that dominated the Disney desert scene? Ice cream 😋🍦 I decided to challenge myself to taste testing my way through Walt Disney World one waffle cone at a time.

Magic Kingdom

One of the most iconic places to crave an ice cream cone is easily Disney’s Magic Kingdom. From Main Street USA to Fantasyland there is no chance you’re entering the happiest place on earth without realizing you’re in need of a lil frozen sugary goodness.

The most famous place to get your ice-cream fix

All American Sundae

WHERE TO FIND IT: Main Street USA at Magic Kingdom,The Plaza Ice Cream Parlour

THE DETAILS: Old-fashioned vanilla and chocolate ice cream with hot fudge, peanut butter drizzle, whipped cream, and a cherry

FIRST IMPRESSION: One of the most magical moments I experienced while in the Magic Kingdom was sharing an All American Sundae with friends as we watched the whimsical 3:00pm ✨Festival of Fantasy Parade 🎊 This desert is classic sugary perfection from the first spoonful to the last. Definitely a Disney dessert essential💝

Mickey Ice Cream Cone

WHERE TO FIND IT: Main Street USA at Magic Kingdom,The Plaza Ice Cream Parlour

THE DETAILS: Hand scooped Edy’s ice cream made on site in any flavour you can imagine decorated with chocolate Mickey ears.

FIRST IMPRESSION: Similar to the All American Sundae, this ice cream cone is so classic you can’t not love every lick. With a mouth-watering selection of vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, mint chocolate chip, cookies ‘n cream, birthday cake and many more this treat is practically perfect in every way 💐😇

Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich

WHERE TO FIND IT: Main Street USA at Magic Kingdom,The Plaza Ice Cream Parlour

THE DETAILS: Two freshly made chocolate-chip cookies served with your choice of hand-scooped ice cream. I went for my favourite: mint chocolate chip…so good!!

FIRST IMPRESSION: !!!Still so excited when I think back to how much I loved this!!! The cookies and ice cream are a very indulgent combination. Yes, it will melt super quickly due to the insane Florida heat, but I promise you will have so much fun eating this. Each bite and lick is more deliciously addictive than the last 🍦🍪  Bon appétit!

Mickey Kitchen Sink Sundae

WHERE TO FIND IT: Main Street USA at Magic Kingdom,The Plaza Ice Cream Parlour

THE DETAILS:  Treat yourself to three scoops of ice cream (chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry) topped with hot fudge, strawberry sauce and caramel. Then take it to the next level with whipped cream, chocolate and peanut butter chips, and cherries. Oh and did I mention it’s served in a collectible plastic Mickey pants bowl?😂People go crazy for these!

FIRST IMPRESSION: I have to confess I never actually tasted this one 😌 But I never saw one guest who was digging into this sundae look disappointed!

All You Can Drink Plaza Milkshakes

WHERE TO FIND IT: Main Street USA at Magic Kingdom,The Plaza Restaurant

THE DETAILS:  As if further explanation is required after “all you can drink” and “milkshake” are in the same sentence! Available in every flavour of Edy’s ice-cream served at The Plaza Ice Cream Parlour, these delicious milkshakes are topped with whipped cream and cherries  just like you’re in a classic diner 😍

FIRST IMPRESSION:  The best discovery in all of Disney! So inexpensive ($8.00 each!) and so, so delicious and fun. Not to mention the atmosphere is adorable and the whole experience is pure magic 😋 100% would recommend!!

Pineapple Dole Whip Float

WHERE TO FIND IT: Adventureland at Magic Kingdom, Aloha Isle

THE DETAILS: Frozen pineapple blended with vanilla soft serve.

FIRST IMPRESSION: The Dole Whip is one of the most sought after deserts available in Disney World. Right from the first day I arrived in Orlando all anyone could talk about was Dole Whips, Dole Whips, Dole Whips. The first spoonful was definitely tangy and refreshing, but personally my mouth was in pineapple overload mode pretty fast! This is definitely a love or hate Disney desert. Personally, I’ll skip it the next time I’m in Florida 😜

Epcot is one of the best parks to go to for food lovers because of all the different pavilions. Where else can you purchase a treat inspired by the London one block and Morocco the next? There are so many amazing (and Disney famous) treats in Epcot I wish I could have sampled each and every one!

Macaron Ice Cream Sandwiches

FIRST IMPRESSION: From start to finish this mouthwatering treat was a heart eye emoji experience. Any girly, Paris loving girl will obsess over these sweets because they truly are the most magical way to enjoy a macaron. This is the kind of treat you’re going to be craving every day you’re in Disney 😍😍😍

Animal Kingdom

I worked at Animal Kingdom every day of my internship and I have to say the food there is really good😋 If you love exotic ethnic dishes then this is the park for you 😍 Of course if you’re an ice cream addict like myself there is also a lot to love 🙆

Chocolate Waffle & Vanilla Ice Cream

Equal parts nautical and beachy Disney’s Boardwalk Resort became my favourite place to hangout after discovering it was the home of the best ice cream on property!
