French fashion is steeped in simplicity, however not all design labels bred in France are reminiscent of Coco Chanel’s Paris. Gypsy sweet heart Frederique Trou-Roy found her inspiration for her glamorous bohemian clothing line, la Maison Manoush, while wandering Morocco when she was in between jobs. Parisian label Manoush is famous for its unique, cultured and vibrant clothing steeped in adventure and charm. In 2002 Trou-Roy launched her clothing line with as much lustre and enthusiasm as her Marrakech travels had instilled in her. I love Manoush’s Middle Eastern influence the label truly inspires me to push limits and break rules when it comes to clothing. For a Paris inspired afternoon of iced coffee and delicious French deserts at Collete Grand Café (review coming soon) I decided this French label was the perfect outfit choice.
What I’m Wearing: White Vintage Dress (Manoush) | White Chunky Sandals (AMI Clubwear) | Jewelled Necklace (Rox N Bunny) | Jewelled Bracelet (Rox N Bunny) | Bow Sunglasses (Polette Eyewear)
This outfit is contemporary, summery and a lot of fun to wear. I definitely enjoyed sparking up this look with fabulous accessories reserved only for the boldest of fashion tastemakers. Bow shaped sunglasses and sparkly accessories in addition to my beautiful new phone case helped tie this ensemble together. The perfect outfit for a perfect afternoon at the Thompson Toronto!
