WHAT I WORE: VINTAGE VIVIENNE WESTWOOD FOR A WINTER SUSHI DATE

A friend of mine recently likened selecting outfits to creating a work of art where the body is the canvas and this is definitely true. Curating a wardrobe is a lifelong pursuit and often you find the best new items to create an artistic fashion statement when you’re not looking for anything in particular. Recently I have been accidentally discovering a plethora of unexpected essentials everywhere from the hidden gems that are vintage boutiques to the always-fun-to-browse online shops I am constantly keeping tabs on.

What I’m Wearing: Vintage Vivenne Westwood Blazer {Vivienne Westwood} | Abstract Printed Skirt {Ami Clubwear} | Statement Necklace {My Femme Crush Accessories}
This was the perfect ensemble for a wintertime sushi date with my darling blogger friend fresh off the jet from London, Jenn Boctor. I love this outfit because it combines so many unique pieces…it is not every day a vintage designer blazer can be paired so effortlessly with a club wear skirt! Of course I never feel complete without a glamorous statement necklace which is what makes this shimmery teal bib the ideal way to complete this outfit.

P.s. Be sure to check out Jenn’s blog, The Vogue Mode, which now has its own fabulous little e-shop featuring the most dazzling exotic jewelry you will find anywhere on the web!
