My blog posts on my weekend in Miami South Beach are drawing to a close and it makes me so sad because I’ve had so much fun re-living each moment of my trip as I have blogged about it. My trip to South Beach was incredible and so refreshing. I’ve seen some incredible sights, eaten some amazing latin american food miami, and (most importantly) had some much needed me time. A lot of sunshine, the ocean and palm trees as far as the eye can see truly can do wonders for your outlook on life! Considering the remote islands of Turks and Caicos are just a short fly away from Miami, one day it might be worth looking into the likes of these Turks and Caicos villas. I feel so inspired after visiting Miami and I have realized there are so many places I want to go and so many more events around the world I would love to attend and cover for F&B Inc! For now, I’ll leave you with a travel diary entry from my final day in South Beach…
My last day in South Beach was relaxed and so enjoyable. I started my day with a run along the beach which was absolutely fantastic! After getting ready to go out I headed down Collins Avenue for a mini shopping spree. I visited a ton of fabulous tourist shops, boutiques and was keen to pop into any store that caught my eye. I also ended up filming my first haul video for YouTube so as soon as I can I will edit and upload to share with you all my purchases!
After tons of shopping, I hit the beach and took a million photos! It is no secret I absolutely adore photography and I had so much fun taking pictures with my new Nikon D3300 DSLR. After a very hot, sunny beachside stroll I headed back to my hotel to lounge by the pool. At the pool I admired my all-white manicure from Nailed Miami and my AMI Clubwear bedazzled rhinestone sunnies!
No vacation is complete without a handful of indulgences! Let’s face it, if you can’t live a little and enjoy some treats while on holidays, when can you? At the pool I sipped my new favourite drink: a piña colada mocktail (they are just so serendipity to enjoy by the pool!) Before hopping into a taxi to go from MIA to YYZ I enjoyed one extra sweet treat, a bowl of classic Miami Fudge ice-cream from Kilwins. So decadent and such a treat!
That’s a wrap for my Miami South Beach coverage (tear, tear) until (hopefully) next year! I’d definitely love to return to South Beach for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim 2016 and I hope blogging can lead me there again. You truly never know where the future will take you! Thanks again for an amazing time, Miami!
