WMCFW Runway Review: Travis Taddeo Spring/Summer 2014 RTW

October 27, 2013

Travis Taddeo‘s Spring/Summer 2014 Matinee collection debuted at World MasterCard Fashion Week on Tuesday October 22nd. The collection was classic Travis and featured Taddeo’s signature billowy silhouettes and laid back vibe. This season Taddeo took inspiration from sleepwear and his show opened with an artistic video clip based around the idea of relaxing in bed in the morning and enjoy the simple things in life. The color scheme of the collection was cream, black, blue and grey. Taddeo, who is known for his high-fashion twist on slouchy lounge wear, showed loose tank tops, leggings and leather vests for men and silky jumpsuits, peplum skirts and ruched dresses. All the models in the show donned sloppy-chic caps and socks and sandals for a distinct “I don’t care, but actually I do” feeling.

The collection was edgy, minimalistic and uber urban. All the looks in the show oozed hip with a  lazy twist impossible not to love. When it comes to casual chic Canadian fashions no one does it better than Travis! Anyone who likes simplistic, laid back clothing will be all over this collection.
