WMCFW Runway Review: Tatsuaki Spring/Summer 2014 RTW

October 29, 2013

It was all about flirty florals on the runway for Tatsuaki’s Spring/Summer 2014 RTW runway show which debuted on Day 2 of World MasterCard Fashion Week! Dan Liu, the creative genius behind the feminine line, drew inspiration from nature for his collection which featured girly garments in pretty pastel colors. The stunning models that walked in the show donned bright pink lipstick and slick pony tails. One model in particular ruled the runway like no other…Krystal Kennedy! “Walking in the show was unbelievable. I have worked with Dan on multiple occasions and every time it is just an absolute joy and pleasure” gushed Krystal of her experience strutting her stuff on the runway.

“He is amazing and he designs are extraordinary. Being able to walk for him in Toronto Fashion Week was one of the highlights of my modelling career.” continued Krystal who is a big fan of Tatsuaki. Krystal sung high praise for the collection “his collection not only showed his creativity but also his passion. It was evident in every piece of the collection. I love that about this collection because it makes you feel beautiful wearing the clothing.” Beauty was definitely a key theme in the collection as all the looks were truly gorgeous in every way. Dan Liu understands contrasting spheres of beauty and wanted to show them both through his collection “the first half of the collection was all black. It was showing the darker side of feminine beauty; the dark goddess. The rest of the collection was the complete opposite. Spring, flirty and completely feminine; you can’t help but feel beautiful in his clothing.” Krystal says.
The runway show was a delight to attend and overall the clothes were 100% stunning! Keep reading for F&B Inc’s favorite looks from the show plus a full-length video of the entire runway show…
