David Dixon is one of the leading womenswear fashion designers in Canada and is known for his feminine and sophisticated design aesthetic. For his Spring/Summer 2014 Ready-To-Wear collection Dixon brought his signature understated elegance to the runway for the closing show of the night. The show was jam-packed and cameras were flashing simultaneously as models strutted smoothly down the runway. The collection featured pieces exclusively in black and white.

The collection fancy strictly dresses of all hemlines and crafted from all fabrics. Some frocks were adorned in fluffy floral embellishments, sequined paillettes. feathers, lace mesh, ribbons…you name it, Dixon had it. The collection definitely had a formal essence and all the garments felt like they would fit in perfectly at a ritzy cocktail party or elite evening ball.
