Paris Fashion Week Runway Review: Chanel Spring/Summer 2014 RTW

October 3, 2013

Chanel is synonymous with luxury, high-fashion and Paris Fashion Week and Karl Lagerfeld never ever disappoints. From the stunning atmosphere at the Grand Palais to the extraordinary garments to the best models in the industry Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2014 RTW runway show was immaculate in every way. This season, Lagerfeld drew inspiration from the art world and hence the runway show was transformed into an art gallery adorned with sculptures, statues and golden framed masterpieces. The creative tone of the Grand Palais set the tone for the runway show which featured beautiful tweed suits, skirts, dresses and accessories. The collection was classic Chanel (sophisticated, feminine with a masculine touch, luxurious and of course divine!) The candy colored looks in the show created a candy land like feeling (the baby blue and hot pink color schemes can’t help but make a girl squeal with delight!) All in all, Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2014 RTW runway show has been one of the best of fashion season and will forever go down in history as a truly exquisite fashion collection.
