Vancouver Fashion Week Trend Report: Hot Pink Rules The Runway

Vancouver Fashion Week is a all about showcasing the talent of diverse fashion designers from Canada and around the world. The fastest growing fashion week in the world, Vancouver Fashion Week seeks to combine innovation and fashion to bring forward a bi-annual six day event filled with glamour, sophistication and of course incredible runway shows! This season Vancouver Fashion Week welcomed over 20,000 guests from the fashion industry to enjoy the sumptuous styles bound to big Spring/Summer 2014. While each designer at Vancouver Fashion Week had their own unique and wonderful design aesthetic there were some fabulous similarities drawn for the shows and hence some beautiful trends for the Spring/Summer season to look forward to!

One of the biggest trends on the Vancouver Fashion Week runway was indefinitely the bold infusion of bright, feminine colors! It was all about pink, pink, pink for Regina Jessen, Theresa Chen and Sara Roka among other designers showcasing at VFW. It’s not hard to see why hot pink would be an extremely popular color for designers to play with for Spring/Summer 2014.
