New York Fashion Week Runway Review: Zimmermann Spring/Summer 2014 RTW

September 8, 2013
Australian fashion line, Zimmermann, made a big impact on New York City as the line’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection debuted at the Lincoln Center earlier today. The collection was truly stunning and featuring ultra feminine silhouettes and fabrics. Nicky Zimmermann (the designer) named the collection “Ringmaster” and said it was strongly inspired by the circus. The collection is very girly and romantic, but with a strong and confident undertone.

Models on the runway looked gorgeous with their hair pulled back and their soft, delicate makeup highlighting the subtly powerful outfits on the runway. Color schemes on the runway had a vintage vibe with pale pink and blue taking the forefront as well as white, black and gold playing contrast. The floaty tutu elements of the clothing gave the overall collection an elegant and whimsical feel making it impossible not to absolutely adore all things Zimmermann!

All of the garments in the collection were absolutely exquisite and it is clear this budding design line will only continue to flourish from season to season. F&B Inc looks forward to seeing the stunning clothes in this collection come Spring/Summer 2014. Check out all the looks bellow…
