Miami Fashion Week Runway Review: Suboo 2014

July 25, 2013
If you’re looking for a cool and contemporary swim suit to rock on the beach come 2014 look no further than Suboo! Suboo’s 2014 collection debuted at mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Miami on July 20th and proved that color blocking and conservative cuts can still be trendy and fashion-forward. The collection featured bright blue, orange, lavender, leopard print and solid black swim suits each with a modern yet classic feeling.

The design of the suits in the collection was linear with lots of color blocking and straight necklines and bandeaus. As the models strutted down the runway to the kaleidoscope of catchy technological zaps and pounds it was clear the suits in the collection were meant to be new and almost futuristic.
The line was launched in 2007 by designer Sue Di Chio and ever since has been praised by fashionistas, trendsetters and top magazines (Harper’s Bazaar crowned the line a “must-have“). Suboo swim wear is designed to be worn at prestigious resorts and is available from Shopbop, Revolve and Niemen Marcus. This collection tied the effortlessly unique design aesthetic the brand is known for with a new, modern vibe that created a very hip show.
