With high-end fashion designers and popular clothing brands introducing eco-friendly fibres into their garments and amazing organizations working to increase opportunities for

eco-conscious designers there is an abundance of fabulous earth-friendly fashions to choose from.

Stella McCartney

British designer Stella McCartney is all about merging high-end style with environment on the mind. In her company statement she recognizes the importance of being eco-friendly through fashion: “we understand that it is our responsibility to do what we can to become a more sustainable company. We are responsible for the resources that we use and the impact that we have. We are always exploring new and innovative ways to become more sustainable.”. It is inspiring and motivational to see an international design line with such a heavy influence over the fashion industry stepping out and making a difference in the world. Stella McCartney’s stunning designs are unique, beautiful and distinctly fashion-forward making her clothing the perfect Earth Day fashion choice!

Feral Childe

New York City based designers Moriah Carlson and Alice Wu are the talented fashionistas behind 100% eco-friendly clothing line Feral Childe, a line designed to bring quirky and creative artistic visions to life through clothing. Moriah and Alice work with sustainable fibers and manufacture locally in New York to keep pollution levels from international shipping down. Feral Childe clothing has a fresh and modern design aesthetic perfect for boho girls with a love for loose fitting blouses and feminine prints.

Starfish

Starfish is a chic and stylish fashion-forward clothing line from New Zealand dedicated to sustainability. The clothing line won New Zealand’s Sustainable Business award in 2007 and since then has been striving even more to do good for the planet. With a promise to create quality garments made from sustainable fabrics, recycled buttons and buckles, vegetable dye and chlorine-free tissue as well as eco-concious packaging it is clear Starfish is out to make the world a more fashionable and healthy place!
